Signal origin

Formed in and around an Atlanta, GA music store in 2014, Vostok Programme debuted a five-song, 36-minute self-titled LP in October 2015, hailed as a “powerful, dynamic and complex instrumental mix of space rock and post-rock” by ProgArchives.com.

The album’s melodies are built to transit across large, dissonant passages of controlled feedback and articulate drumming. Obsessions with early King Crimson, late 80’s Sonic Youth, and minor masterpieces of 70’s underground prog culture are focused through a dense gear fetish using both ultramodern and vintage textures. There are no synths.
